Andrea Padley Montini graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 and from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004. She was admitted to the Maryland bar in 2004, and shortly thereafter became Managing Attorney of the YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Domestic Violence Legal Services program, where she provided legal advice and representation to victims of abuse in their domestic violence and family law matters until she transitioned into private practice in April 2010 with Krohn & Krissoff, P.A. and later Stephen P. Krohn, P.A.
Andrea has built her practice on providing compassionate and attentive representation to her clients. Her approach is honest, practical and gets positive results. Andrea, who is fluent in Spanish, concentrates in negotiating and litigating family law matters, including domestic violence matters in District and Circuit Court.
Andrea has nearly two decades of practice in Anne Arundel County and over thirteen years of practice in the surrounding counties. She has formed strong relationships with her colleagues and courthouse staff and is well respected by the judges in both the District and Circuit Courts.
Andrea’s personal experiences with domestic violence, divorce and custody matters give her a genuine understanding of what her clients experience when going through contested litigation. She draws upon her experiences as a step-mother and mother, as well as her personal experience with divorce litigation, to make her a more empathetic, supportive and responsive advocate for her clients.
Andrea is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and Anne Arundel Bar Association. She currently serves on the Judicial Nominations Committee of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence. Andrea was selected to the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys 10 Best Female Attorneys in 2018 and 2019, Baltimore Magazine Top Attorneys of Maryland Rising Stars – 2018, 2019 and 2020 and Attorney & Practice Magazine’s Top 10 Family Law Female Attorney Maryland for 2021 and 2023.
