Our History

Cochran & Chhabra was founded in 1970 by Gill Cochran, who established the firm as a trusted name in Annapolis legal circles. For over 45 years, Gill dedicated his career to defending the rights of Maryland residents — from DUI cases and criminal cases to personal injury claims.

Today, under the leadership of Managing Member Mandeep Chhabra, the firm continues that legacy while expanding into new practice areas, including family law. Our team combines the deep community roots planted by our founder with modern legal strategies that deliver results in today’s courtrooms.
